Every Minnesotan deserves access to quality health care.

Made clear by the most recent insulin debate, we must guarantee that no one’s life should be at risk just because they are unable to afford necessary medication. Ensuring everyone has access to quality treatment and healthcare services creates positive, healthy outcomes for communities. We must also hold the pharmaceutical industry accountable for the greed that is fueling so many healthcare crises—from insulin to opioids—that affect our communities.

As your state senator, I will support reducing drug costs on prescriptions, improving the quality of healthcare services, securing funding for public health programs to reduce health risk behaviors, and improving access to behavioral and mental health services.
